THE 2007 CALL FOR ENTRIES HAS CLOSED.

• There is NO ENTRY FEE to submit films to the PLATFORM Festival competition.
• Films under 40 minutes that contain a substantial amount of animation are eligible.
• Entrants must be 18 years old or over.
• Films must have premiered after January 1, 2005 to be eligible, however Installations are not restricted by date of premiere.
• There is no limit on the number of films you can submit; however, each film must be substantially different as determined by the Festival Director and mailed separately with its own pre-selection materials.
• If entering a TV series, please send only one episode.
• INTERNATIONAL ENTRANTS: please note PLATFORM cannot accept customs charges. For international submissions, clearly mark your package "For Temporary Cultural Purposes Only - Without Commercial Value".

ENTRY DEADLINES AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The submission deadline for films was extended until March 15, 2007

**PRE-SELECTION MATERIALS: (i) a copy of the Film in DVD (any region), VHS (NTSC or Pal) or QuickTime, Flash or AVI format; (ii) a synopsis; (iii) director's biography (100 words), (iv) director's photo (300dpi); and (v) a minimum of three stills (300dpi).

PLEASE NOTE:

• Rough cuts are accepted for pre-screening purposes if most of the animation is complete.
• Requests for late entries may be submitted in writing to the PLATFORM Festival Director at programming@platformfestival.com.

We encourage you to enter your films using the online submission portal, where you can:

• Upload entry documents.
• Edit your information anytime until March 15, 2007.

Please take your time to complete the forms and remember you can come back at any time until March 15, 2007 to make changes.

IF ENTERING ONLINE

To be considered for the Festival, complete, submit and print the online entry form as directed. Next send a hard copy of the completed and SIGNED online entry form along with the attached SIGNED copy of the FESTIVAL RULES & REGULATIONS and the PRE-SELECTION MATERIALS described below to the PLATFORM headquarters in North Hollywood, California.

IF ENTERING BY MAIL

To be considered for the Festival, send a legible hard copy of the completed and SIGNED Downloadable Entry Form along with attached SIGNED copy of the FESTIVAL RULES & REGULATIONS and the PRE-SELECTION MATERIALS described below to the PLATFORM headquarters in North Hollywood, California.

REQUIRED PRE-SELECTION MATERIALS

• A copy of the film on DVD (any region), VHS (NTSC or Pal); or on DVD or CD in QuickTime, Flash or AVI format (rough cuts are accepted if most of the animation is complete).
• A film synopsis
• Director's biography of 100 words

• A minimum of 3 stills

Remember, you must acknowledge that you have read and understood the Rules and Regulations by signing the last page and returning entry documents in their entirety.
